I've been spending a bit of time in KY the last couple of months during my off season doing all things equestrian. While I was at Meadow Lake Equestrian Center, I came across their vaulting team during a practice session. So cool!! It's like gymnastics and dance on horseback. They were kind enough to let me take some photos and even participate a little myself at the end. Check it out!
Ok my friends. I've decided to start up a referral program again. My business has always succeeded because of my wonderful clients spreading the word, and I'd love to reward those for continuing to do so. Starting today, if you send an engaged couple my way and they book their wedding with me, and they name you, you will receive $100 off a family/equine photo session. What?!?! Thank you, thank you, to everyone for their continued support!!
Love my horse sessions! Especially when it's for a high school senior. Meet Mae and her horses Tachman and Pandor. Everyone was a trooper tonight as we had a cold front move in and it was misting heavily on us. Mae did amazing though! Special shout out to Lauren Schone for grooming up the ponies for us and having them ready to go! Tachman was also just awarded Best Turned Out Horse at the Maclay Regionals!
I managed to grab a shot of Vicky galloping through the fresh snow yesterday.
These two were amazing. Venti posed for every photo and of course Gabrielle looked gorgeous as well. There's nothing better than being mauled by your horse for treats. So adorable.
Yep. Pretty much going to require anyone wanting equine photos to trailer into Mill Creek Farm. This place was gorgeous!! I mean... I knew Carrie was going to nail this session, but once I saw the location... icing on the cake. So happy to visit with Carrie again for these going away photos with Cora. I got to do senior photos with Carrie last summer and now she is headed off to college. Good luck girl! Study hard and have a great time!
Some of you may recognize this horse from pervious sessions. Ziggy is becoming a real pro. Sadly Caitlin is moving away to Texas with her family, so her time with Ziggy is ending. To remember him, his owner and trainer gave them a photo session as a going away gift. Such an awesome gift!
Bitter sweet session. This will most likely be the last time I photograph Viggo as he is moving to Missouri for retirement. Such a beautiful horse. My favorite paint.
I can NOT get enough of these two. Has to be one of the most adorable sessions ever. Landry was definitely not camera shy. At 5 and 3/4 years old, Landy began by leading her pony out to the pasture while singing him a song about how much she loved him. Sweetest thing I've ever heard. Not to mention this pony is the best pony I've ever come across. He stood there... flies didn't bother him, Landry running around didn't phase him, and only moved if you wanted him to. Amazing all around to work with both Landry and Spanky.
