What a day!! This was the first wedding ever where I’ve had to go down to the basement as a tornado was passing by. The wind was whipping. The rain was coming down sideways. And the ceremony was scheduled to be outside at Pamprin Park. Sadly Pamprin Park had no indoor backup option. The reception venue however, did come to the rescue. Vandervest Olde 41 quickly accommodated the wedding party by setting up for the ceremony that was to take place in just a couple of hours. They also had an amazing outdoor space for photos(the rain stopped! woo!!). You handled everything like a champ Leah. Hoping you and Drew have a lifetime of happiness together.
Happy New Year friends!! I'm all caught up with edits and am now trying to get caught up on blogging. What better way to start the new year than with the wedding of Shana and Jimmy?! Truly an amazing wedding to attend with so many great people. Shana and I go all the way back to the days of Preble High School playing basketball together. So many familiar faces at this wedding - from previous brides, to family session clients, to former classmates. We started out at Holy Cross Church up on Bay Settlement Road where Shana and her sisters went to school. What a view! After the ceremony, we took photos out in back of the church where we had a view of the bay. Gorgeous lighting for gorgeous people. After that, we headed for a few drinks behind Hagemeister Park on The CityDeck overlooking the Fox River. Downtown Green Bay has really changed! New and remodeled bars and restaurants popping up all over giving it a much more modern look. The reception was at the new event space for Titletown Brewing Co. They have bar with a walkout deck on the top floor for cocktails which was super cool. Down a floor was the reception space. Super warm and pretty with flowers from Divine Nature everywhere. So much fun being a part of this wedding.
Well after we got rained out a couple of weeks ago, our retake was a success! Hailey and Addison were so fun! They had poses all planned out for me and were so delightful. Love these kids!twins
Amazing wedding! I know, I know... I say it often. But it really is true. My preview on facebook is 86 photos! I can't post them all here but please become a fan of my facebook page and you can see all of the extra photos that are not posted here. This wedding took place in Green Bay. Gorgeous day. A little steamy, but still beautiful. The salon was Haven Salon in De Pere, the chapel was Sepia Wedding Chapel, and the reception was at The Ravine. Additional photos were taken at Baird's Creek.
