I love Madison. It has the big city buildings but a small town feel. I've been to the Madison Club a few times now and it's such a wonderful venue for a wedding. It was pretty chilly this fall day, and windy! The ladies were such troopers to go out and get some shots with the capital building in the background. So gorgeous!
My final wedding from 2014, was with Sara and Christian in Madison WI. We had a beautiful day considering it was the 7th of December. The sun was out and the girls were willing to brave the cold. We first went to this great little park near the water where kids were ice skating on frighteningly thin looking ice. There was no way I was asking my bride to go stand out there. So we stuck to the bridge and the lake front. After a gorgeous Greek Orthodox ceremony, the whole wedding party headed over to the Capital Building for a few shots outside. Such a great area. The whole day was very relaxed - a great way to end 2014.
Another gorgeous wedding for me this past 4th of July weekend. Megan and Alec said I Do just across the street from the WI state capitol. The weather was perfect as we started with a first look in the garden. Love Alec's face as he sees his bride to be. We also made a stop at the capitol building, which would be any photographers dream not only because it's gorgeous inside there, but it would make a wonderful backup in case it rained. Those are hard to come by. And no Fourth of July weekend would be complete without sparklers. Love sparkler photos!
