So excited to be accepted as a featured vendor of Borrowed & Blue!
I received a special note from one of my couples today. I have the best clients. <3
I wanted to share a few shots with you from my cousin's wedding just this last saturday. I was not the official photographer but a guest. However, I could not leave the house without my camera. Thank god! Because the "official" photographer for their wedding decided he had to leave shortly after the ceremony unexpectedly. So I stepped in for the win. haha... It was a gorgeous back yard wedding close to the shores of Lake Michigan. Close friends and family, a DJ that was tha bomb, and delicious catering from Real Urban BBQ. Enjoy!
We pretty much had a perfect evening for Any and Fritz's engagement photos. We started at North Pond and made our way to North Ave Beach. We also tried to go to the Art Institute but their gardens were unfortunately closed. I love North Pond though. So pretty! I can't wait for the wedding!
My dear Carter, who was entertaining us all during Anna and Eric's wedding last fall has made yet another appearance for his photo bomb. Bridal Guide Magazine contacted me a few weeks ago asking to publish my photo as part of the top wedding photo bombs. And just after they released their story, Yahoo.com also picked it up. Too fun!
SO excited that I needed to post some pics asap of Rhonda and Eric's wedding. =) I've known Rhonda since grade school. And most of her bridesmaids too! Some I've photographed their weddings and some their families. So I knew this wedding would be so much fun. For mid-november, we got pretty lucky. The rain held off and the temps were doable. I think we got some great shots! Rhonda, you looked absolutely beautiful. I'm so happy for you. Thank you so much for sharing this day with me. I def need to give a shout out to Rose who was responsible for the gorgeous flowers! Artful Rose is her company.
Such a beautiful wedding. And the weather was amazing! We started off with the ladies getting ready at the Kisbac residence and the men at the Renaissance Hotel. Love love LOVE Alexis's dress. It was Oscar de la Renta. Gorgeous! This was also my first experience with a Romanian ceremony which was so beautiful! The officiants actually wanted me to get right up in there for photos. It was amazing! Wedding party photos were at the most perfect time of day with beautiful light. We finished up with an amazing reception a the Renaissance Hotel in Schaumburg.
Beautiful wedding. Kharel and Horace had a smaller intimate affair on Saturday with their ceremony in Matteson and photos in Chicago. A wonderful group of people, thanks so much for sharing this day with me!
This was my third wedding with Maria's family. So much fun to be a part of all these happy days. Not to mention her family makes the best cheese ever. So gorgeous this day was. So many pretty pastel color pallets, and you can't beat the fact that they had their beloved Charlie join us for photos. Congratulations Ben and Maria. Amazing wedding. Amazing People. Amazing wedding! I know, I know... I say it often. But it really is true. My preview on facebook is 86 photos! I can't post them all here but please become a fan of my facebook page and you can see all of the extra photos that are not posted here. This wedding took place in Green Bay. Gorgeous day. A little steamy, but still beautiful. The salon was Haven Salon in De Pere, the chapel was Sepia Wedding Chapel, and the reception was at The Ravine. Additional photos were taken at Baird's Creek.
Beautiful wedding. Amanda and John are both very creative and it showed in all the little details of their wedding. Together they folded 1,000 paper cranes in 12 shades of blue. They used a photo of those cranes as texture for the copy of their stationary and signs to direct their guests. Those cranes also hung as a backdrop at the altar for their ceremony which was held at this amazing little park in Wheaton. You will see many other super fun details that display the personalities of these two throughout this post. So much fun. Thank you so much to Amanda and John for sharing this special day with me.
So much fun in Chicago! Other than a little wind(to be expected), we had a beautiful day for photos. Christie and Jay had their ceremony in St. Thomas on the beach almost a month ago now. On saturday, they celebrated back home with all of their friends and family. We started at The Drake, visited the Adler Planetarium, ran around Michigan Ave, and finished up at The Back Room - a sweet jazz club on Rush that you should all check out.
